Maker Midtown

Where community, sustainability, culture, and local art come together.

Maker Apartments, located in the heart of Midtown Sacramento, is designed around the city’s creative culture. The project fulfills two Public Art Requirements through collaborations with Northern California-based artists. Inside the building, Bryan Valenzuela’s Point of Origin, a triptych in ink and acrylic, symbolizes the convergence of lives in an organic world.

Outside, Jose Di Gregorio’s Kismet spans 240 feet across Solon’s Alley, serving as a metaphysical, "nebulaic" portal for residents. As part of a sustainability initiative, 240 spray paint cans used in Kismet were upcycled into a custom art piece for the Community Space. The eight-floor development also features curated works by some of Sacramento’s most notable multi-disciplinary artists.
